Field notes 2026 Fall/Winter Streetwear T-shirts Supermade Editorial6 September 20266 min read For fall and winter 2026, a streetwear T-shirt has to keep working after a jacket or hoodie goes on. Short sleeves still matter, but boxy bodies, long sleeves, washed jersey, raglan construction and stronger graphics are easier to keep visible in layered outfits. Supermade’s current tee range already covers each of those forms. In this piece Oversized short sleeves with wide denim One large graphic, plain trousers Long sleeves for the first cold weeks Raglan sleeves when the sleeves are part of the design Stripes instead of a chest print Washed tees beside clean denim Layering short sleeves through winter Oversized short sleeves with wide denim Acid Wash Figure Graphic Oversized T-ShirtDark gray, dropped shoulder, loose body and a slightly shortened oversized hem. For a short-sleeve tee worn into fall, width is more useful than simply adding length. The Acid Wash Figure Graphic Oversized T-Shirt has a loose body, dropped shoulders and a hem that is shorter than a longline oversized tee. Wear the dark-gray version with medium-blue wide-leg jeans and black skate sneakers. Leave the shirt outside the waistband. The sleeves sit well down the upper arm, while the shorter body leaves more of the jeans visible than a tee hanging below the back pockets. When it gets colder, add a cropped black bomber and leave it open. A narrow section of gray jersey can remain below the jacket, while the central figure print stays visible through the front. Black carpenter trousers also work. Brown suede sneakers or dark-burgundy shoes give the footwear enough separation from the trousers without adding another graphic. One large graphic, plain trousers Glitch Gothic Graphic T-ShirtBlack base with oversized Old English lettering and a warm glitch-gradient print. The Glitch Gothic Graphic T-Shirt already fills much of the front with lettering, distortion and a red-orange-blue gradient. It does not need another printed garment immediately below it. Put it with faded-charcoal straight jeans and plain black leather sneakers. The denim gives the lower half some texture without competing with the print. Ecru jeans create a sharper break under the black shirt. Keep the shoes black so the outfit returns to the shirt’s base color at the bottom. If a jacket is needed, use plain black leather or dark brown and leave it open. Racing patches, embroidery or another large graphic beside this print would make the upper half much busier. Long sleeves for the first cold weeks Logo Graphic Long Sleeve TeeBlack cotton jersey with a straight hem, ribbed cuffs and a large vertical blue-gray graphic. A long-sleeve tee becomes useful when a short sleeve is too light on its own but fleece is still excessive indoors. The Logo Graphic Long Sleeve Tee uses 100% cotton jersey, a straight hem, full sleeves and ribbed cuffs. Wear it with charcoal cargo trousers and black lace-up boots. Keep the pockets and hardware on the trousers dark so the vertical print remains the strongest feature on the front. A faded black denim jacket can go over it. Leave the front open and the blue-gray graphic remains visible between the jacket sides. For a simpler outfit, switch to dark-indigo straight jeans and gray sneakers. The black shirt stays separate from the denim without adding another strong color. Raglan sleeves when the sleeves are part of the design Skull Print Waffle Boxy Long Sleeve TeeBlack body, camouflage raglan sleeves and a large white skull graphic. The Skull Print Waffle Boxy Long Sleeve Tee uses camouflage sleeves that run from the neckline to the wrists, so the sleeve construction is part of the design rather than a background detail. Wear it with washed-black straight cargo pants and plain black sneakers. The camouflage stays concentrated on the upper body instead of being repeated on the trousers. Dark-blue loose jeans give the shirt more separation and keep the lower half familiar while the skull and camo sleeves stay above the waist. When extra warmth is needed, use a black sleeveless puffer. The torso gains another layer without covering the raglan sleeves. Stripes instead of a chest print Striped Embroidered Oversized Long Sleeve TeeDistressed horizontal stripes, dropped shoulders, a patch pocket and metal grommets on the sleeves. The Striped Embroidered Oversized Long Sleeve Tee spreads detail across the whole shirt rather than placing one image in the center. Wear it with solid black jeans and dark-gray suede shoes. The stripes, pocket and grommets already give the upper half enough surface detail. Faded-black wide denim also works. Let the shirt hang outside the waistband and keep the jeans unprinted. A short black puffer vest leaves the sleeves visible while adding warmth through the torso. That matters here because the metal details sit on the sleeves rather than the chest. Washed tees beside clean denim A washed tee carries several shades before any other garment is added. The dark-gray Acid Wash Figure tee has darker seams and a softer charcoal body, so clean denim gives that fading a clearer background. Wear it with dark-indigo straight jeans and brown suede shoes. The jeans stay relatively even in color while the wash remains concentrated on the shirt. For a rougher outfit, use faded baggy jeans and worn leather boots. That continues the aged surface from the tee into the rest of the clothes. With a heavily washed shirt, added holes and shredded hems are optional. The color variation is already visible. Layering short sleeves through winter A short-sleeve T-shirt can stay in the winter rotation underneath heavier layers. Put an oversized graphic tee beneath an open zip hoodie. The neckline and center print remain visible while the hoodie supplies the sleeves. Under a leather jacket, use a medium-weight tee when the jacket is already close through the arms. The Acid Wash Figure tee can sit beneath black leather with loose blue jeans and boots without adding the sleeve bulk of another sweatshirt. A roomy puffer leaves enough space for a boxy short-sleeve tee underneath. Long-sleeve pieces work differently: the Logo Graphic Long Sleeve Tee suits an open bomber, while the striped and raglan shirts are strongest when their sleeves stay visible.
