Top 10 Streetwear
Brands of 2026
Follower counts, storefronts, StockX positions, and the one piece to buy from each.
Supreme is the highest-selling apparel brand on StockX in 2026 and the third-most-searched brand on the platform overall. Thirteen of StockX's twenty-five best-selling apparel releases this year are Supreme.
VF Corp paid $2.1 billion for Supreme in 2020 and sold it to EssilorLuxottica for $1.5 billion in October 2024. RockWater put the sale at roughly 2.8–3.0x revenue and 9x EBIT.
Complex's power ranking, published 28 May 2026: Carhartt WIP, 100+ stores and 1.8m followers. Corteiz, zero stores and 2.3m. Fear of God, zero stores and second on StockX. Kith, 23 stores and first overall.
On the clothes, Forbes' May denim report has barrel legs continuing with less seaming and darting than in 2024–25, closer to a slight bow.

Finishing is done on the garment: laser burnout on denim, ink-splatter washes, double-layer jersey prints, physical distressing. See the Thorn and Key Laser-Burnout Baggy Jeans.
Six lookbooks since 2021 — Origins, Finding A Voice, On The Road, Disconnected, Redemption, The Next Chapter — plus the Parole Project and The Last Judgement capsules.

02
Corteiz
Zero stores, 2.3m followers across Clint Ogbenna's account and the brand's.
Pop-up locations go up a couple of hours ahead; Complex reports turnouts in the hundreds regardless of city. February 2026 brought a New Era collection — grime-referencing "angry eyes" cap, nylon and velvet tracksuits, chunky knits and camo, all carrying the Alcatraz logo. Christmas Day was a Denim Tears capsule merging the Cotton Wreath with Alcatraz on varsity and down jackets. Other named collaborators: Nike, Slawn, photographer Gabriel Moses.
Product has moved past logo tees into printed denim and knitwear.
Guerillaz CargosNot the hoodie. Retail is close to impossible — plan on resale or getting lucky at a pop-up.
03
Supreme
13m followers, 18 stores across three continents. Opened on Lafayette Street in April 1994.
VF bought it for $2.1bn in 2020, sold for $1.5bn in October 2024. WWD reported Supreme stayed profitable throughout and attributed the write-down to VF's balance sheet. Buyer EssilorLuxottica did €25.4bn in 2023 revenue across 18,000 stores.
James Jebbia, 62, still runs it. 2026 output includes MM6 Maison Margiela Timberlands, Playboi Carti photo tees and $4,000 caskets.
Box Logo HoodieBox Logos and the major collabs sell out in minutes and hold resale better than anything else in the line.
04
Stüssy
Founded 1980. 29 stores across three continents, 6.1m followers. Run by David Sinatra, son of co-founder Frank Sinatra Jr.
Shipped in 2026: another Nike LD-1000, women's swimwear, beach towels, an ashtray advertising pool service, and a YouTube video of the Malibu coast titled "Surf Cam." Complex reports daily lines outside the SoHo store. Current collaborators: Nike, Timberland, Our Legacy.
8 Ball Pigment-Dyed TeeThe fleece is the collector's piece; the pigment-dyed tee is what's on the shelf. The graphic predates most brands on this list.
05
Hellstar
730k followers across Hellstar and Hellstar Sport — the smallest count on this page — and no stores.
Sean Holland and Joseph Pendleton run an ongoing Adidas partnership spanning Superstars and camo colourways of Anthony Edwards' signature shoe; ESPN is the other named collaborator. Hellstar Sports runs camps, leagues and NIL scholarships for student athletes.
Complex's entry leads with the copycats: the all-over graphic style is cloned widely enough that it now defines a category.
No Guts No Glory HoodieHeavy fleece, cracked screenprint, garment-washed then abraded.
Counterfeits are the main risk on this one. Buy from the brand or an authorised stockist.
06
Denim Tears
Founded 2019. One store, 913k followers across Tremaine Emory and the brand. Named key collaborator: Corteiz.
The Cotton Wreath references the history of cotton in America and its link to African American history. It has run on hoodies, on denim and across the Levi's collaborations; Complex calls it the most ubiquitous new logo in contemporary streetwear.
The spring/summer 2026 campaign featured Lauryn Hill and her family alongside Kaisokah Moko Jumbies, a Brooklyn stilt-dancing collective. Complex's editor-in-chief ran a piece in April asking whether Emory is streetwear's best storyteller.
Cotton Wreath Pullover HoodieThe Levi's 501s define the label but are rarely in stock. The wreath hoodie is the version you can buy.
07
BAPE
8.2m followers across the US and Japan accounts — the largest on this page — and 60 stores across three continents.
NIGO founded it in 1993 and left in 2013. Mahmoud El Salahy became CEO in 2024. Since then: a KidSuper collaboration fronted by Kai Cenat and RayAsianBoy, and a capsule with streetwear archive account HIDDEN.NY. Current named collaborators are Adidas, WWE and F1.
Shark Full ZipABC camo, full-face zip. An archive piece, priced accordingly.
08
Fear of God Essentials
Zero stores, 5m followers across Jerry Lorenzo, Fear of God and Essentials. Ranked fifth on Complex's list, above Stüssy and its 29 storefronts.
CEO Leo Alfred Chang told Vogue in 2023 the business had a path to $1 billion in annual revenue. Official partnerships now cover the NBA, NFL and MLB. The Fear of God Athletics line with Adidas underperformed and is the one clear miss.
The Essentials range has widened past the original oversized tees and sweats into windbreakers and denim jackets.
Pullover HoodieCounterfeits are heavy on this one — authorised stockists only.
09
Aimé Leon Dore
Three stores across two continents, 1.7m followers, seventh on Complex's list — above BAPE's 60 stores and 8.2m.
Teddy Santis has been creative director of New Balance Made in USA since 2021. Complex notes LVMH interest in the brand. Other collaborators: Porsche, The North Face, New Era. The LA flagship has valet parking and a courtyard coffee shop.
ALD × New Balance P550The release that repositioned New Balance's archive.
10
Carhartt WIP
100+ stores across three continents — more than every other brand on this page combined — on 1.8m followers, fewer than Corteiz manages with none. WIP launched in 1989; Edwin and Salome Faeh run it.
Complex's assessment: it doesn't draw lines down the block and doesn't produce anything that flips for thousands on the aftermarket. Recent collaborations include modular jackets with Sacai and merch for the Clipse reunion.
Streetwear started as workwear adapted by skaters and hip-hop kids in 1980s California.
Detroit JacketDuck canvas, blanket lining, corduroy collar.
Nearly made it
Kith is first on Complex's list: 4.3m followers, 23 stores, restaurants on two continents, Ronnie Fieg creative-directing the New York Knicks. Palace is 16th with 2m and 11 stores, newly open in Shanghai. Sp5der is 8th with 722k and no retail. NIGO's Human Made listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in November, a first for a streetwear brand. Awake NY (383k, one store), Willy Chavarria (550k) and Martine Rose (449k) all made the 25. Yeezy is the fourth-most-searched brand on StockX with no corporate backing at all.
The short version
Supreme leads StockX and shed $600m of enterprise value between 2020 and 2024. Fear of God has no stores and outsold everyone in 2025. Carhartt WIP has 100+ storefronts and almost no resale market. Corteiz has 2.3m followers and nowhere to shop.
Four working models, none of them convertible into the others.
Ours is roughly seven new products a day, kept in stock. Of the ten, it's the one you can act on today.
